Mary Bankos (nee Granda), 84, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015 at Compassionate Care Hospice, in Dover. She was born in Mt. Hope and raised in Rockaway, NJ before moving to Boonton Township in 1962.

Mary worked for Dialogic Inc, in Parsipany as a Payroll clerk before retiring. Prior to that she worked at Aircraft Radio in Boonton Twp and ADT in Parsippany. She taught Catechism at Sacred Heart in Rockaway and Volunteered at St Clare's Hospital.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Edward Bankos; dear mother of Brian Bankos and his wife Joice, and Brendan and his wife Kellie; cherished sister of John Granda; loving grandmother of Brittany, Hannah, Jackson, Megan and three step grandchildren Jayson, Sebastian Jr., Jessamae and one great grandchild Maliyah.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015, at Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main St., Boonton, NJ starting at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church, in Mt. Lakes. . Entombment will be at Locust Hill Cemetery, 168 North Sussex Street, Dover, NJ. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
