Sorry to hear of your loss. I don't know if we are related but my grandmother was a Granda. She was Julia Granda, sister of Anne Reese in Rockaway. I never knew many relatives on her side. She married Frank Bolcar in Boonton.
But even if we are not related losing a loved one still hurts. We may cry and feel sad for a while, but then we think about where our loved ones are and we all agree it is a better place. Remember when Lazarus died and Jesus was on his way to see him, but Jesus was too late. How jesus felt for his friend is recorded in the scriptures so we know that even Jesus felt pain of heart for his friends. We want to be considered Jesus friends too. So when we read John 5: 21, 28, 29, we feel a sense of relief. At some future time our loved ones have a hope of being resurrected here on earth. Imagine if we could see them again. Not as they were when they died, but as they were when they were young and vibrant. What a joyous time that will be. I encourage you to continue to read the Bible and have faith in Jehovah God and Jesus Christ.
