Jill, Jimmy and all of Al's family, I am so sorry for your loss. I just heard today. Al was a mentor and friend and I am in his debt for many things, but especially all the professional coaching he gave me over the 15 years we worked together. All summer I have been thinking "Gotta call Al."; but then something distracted me. I am sorry I wasn't able to share one last belly laugh with him, but trusting in God's promise, I know we will be laughing again soon enough. God's peace be with you all.

Dear Jill and Jim,
I'm so sorry at the passing of Alan, he was truly a great friend. And what a hard worker he was, he always had a project going around the house. I'll always remember the good times we had when I would visit and he would direct me to park my car in his beautiful garage. We'd sit for hours talking classic cars and motorcycles while listening to the Rock n Roll oldies music. He helped me work on my car so many times, or should I say, I helped him work on my car :) A stickler for details, no matter what he was doing he always got it right! A good friend who will be missed by all who had the privilege to know him. Will miss you buddy, God Bless, Todd

Dear Jill, James and Julie,
You are all in our thoughts and prayers as we remember Allen with smiles and love. He was certainly a devoted husband and father who always spoke so lovingly of you all. Jill, Allen was forever sharing details of the wonderful meals you prepared for him! And he would drop everything to work on a project with Jimmy. It was obvious that it was family first with Allen! At the same time, we will remember Allen as a friend, co-worker, skilled artisan and the one who “always had your back.” He is very missed.
As we will cherish the special memories of Allen, we hope that the love and memories that you hold dear will help you through each day.
With our sincerest sympathy,
Edward and Janice Malavarca and family
Grieve not,
Nor speak of me with tears.
But, laugh and talk of me
As if I were beside you.
I loved you so
‘Twas Heaven here with you.

I first met Al when he signed up for my Auto Mechanics class at Boonton High School. For four years he continued to be a very interested young man and had a large group of friends that worked together and had a good time coming to class. After he graduated I lost track of him until we met again at the Riverdale Pistol League a number of years ago. He usually had a good story to tell about his time in class and things that went on behind my back (so he thought). He was indeed a gentleman, had lots of friends, and will be missed. Rest in Peace Al.

I met Al several years ago. He was friendly from the start. Like an old friend I just met. We had great times shooting bullseye and trap together. He was always striving to hit that X ring. He will be missed by many. My condolences to his wife and family.

I met Al through the shooting sports and always enjoyed his company. Then I found out that Al's son graduated from the same college as I did. We had many connections and always had a good time together. Al's good attitude and willingness to help will be sorely missed. He will never be forgotten by his many friends. RIP Al.

Allen and I met a few years ago, but it feels as if I’ve known him all of my life. I’m going to miss seeing him at the range, and just hanging out.
Rest In Peace, my friend. My sincere condolences to your family.
