Obituary of Suzanne Rak

Suzanne T. Rak, 93 Boonton Township, NJ Suzanne Teresa, (nee Sabados), 93 of Boonton passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Merry Heart in Boonton Township. Visitation for Suzanne will be on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street in Boonton from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Services will be held on Monday February 17, 2014 at Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home 9:00 am. followed by a Mass at St. Mary's Church, 15 Myers Ave. in Denville at 10:00am. Interment will follow at St. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery in Boonton. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerlewisandcareyfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Suzanne's memory to Compassionate Care Hospice, 350 Sparta Road, Bldg B, Sparta, NJ 07871 Suzanne was born in Ringwood Manor, NJ. She was one of 9 children growing up in Jersey City before moving to Boonton with her husband George in 1947. She was a wife, mother and homemaker. In her later years she worked at different administrative positions until her retirement from Ashland Chemicals. Suzanne was active in Sts Cyril & Methodius Church and she was a Girl Scout Leader, Troop 442 in Boonton. She was a member of the Boontonites and the Boonton Senior Citizens. Suzanne was predeceased by her husband George in 1994. Suzanne is survived by her brother Michael and his wife Dorothy, by her brother George's wife Mary; by her children: Christine Tyrie and her husband Thomas, Patrice McKenzie and her husband Douglas, Paul and his wife Erin, and Richard and his wife Kim; and by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
