Carol Ruth Ridings,63, of Boonton, passed away Saturday January 26, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at her home.

Carol was born in Glen Ridge and raised in Bloomfield, moving to Boonton in 1958. She was an Executive Administrator working for Bell Labs/Lucent Technologies in Murray Hill. Carol was a member of the Pioneers Club of Bell Labs, former President, Vice President and Secretary of the Lakeland Squares Square Dance Club in Montville, former officer of Northern New Jersey Square Dance Association and a member of the Little Falls Cadets Drum & Bugle Corp.

Carol was the beloved daughter of Mabel and the late John W. Ridings, Jr.; Loving sister of Sherry Ridings Davis, Roy Ridings and his wife Audrey, and Janis Ridings Shiflett. Cherished aunt of Derek, Janeen, and Phillip.

Visiting will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main St. in Boonton from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with the services at 6:15 pm.
