Jacquellyn G. Petrusky Loving mother and grandmother Jacquellyn Genine Petrusky of Montville died Wednesday, April 10, at Morristown Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was 82 years of age. Born in 1931 in Youngstown, OH, Mrs. Petrusky is the only child of the late Robert Powers and Mary Louise Powers (nee Hennessey). She attended Ursuline High School and Youngstown College where she met her future husband, William Thomas Petrusky. She and William moved to Montville where they lived for more than 47 years. Mrs. Petrusky was an active member of the Lake Valhalla Club where she participated in the Garden Club and was an avid doubles tennis player. After raising their five children, Mrs. Petrusky worked at Horizon Bank in Denville for seven years, until her illness. She was a longtime member of St. Pius X Church. Mrs. Petrusky was a beloved daughter, devoted wife, and nurturing mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family, especially her eight grandchildren. With profound sadness, she will be deeply missed by her extended family, friends, and all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, daughter Lisa Brissie of New Canaan, CT; sons William of Montville; Donald of Easton, PA; Peter of Bronxville, NY; and Charles of Laurel, MD, as well as their respective children and extended families. Family and friends may call at the Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street, Boonton, on Friday, April 19th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 20th at 1:00 PM in St. Pius X Church, 24 Changebridge Road, Montville. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
