Rhoda Flynn passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at her daughter's home peacefully in Warwick, NY.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 8:30 AM at Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street in Boonton, followed by a 9:30 AM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Boonton. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Boonton. Visiting will be on Thursday 4 to 8 PM. Letters of condolences may be posted at www.Danglerlewisandcareyfuneralhome.com.
Rhoda was born and raised in Paterson, N.J., then living in Totowa, Boonton, Rockaway and Milford, PA. then moving to Warwick, N.Y one year ago. She worked for County College of Morris as a Bookkeeper for 12 years, before retiring. Rhoda was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Boonton; RCIA of St. Patricks and the Bereavement Group of St. Patricks in Milford; and Secretary to the Local AARP Chapter in Milford.
Rhoda was the beloved wife of 67 years of William J. Flynn Sr.; loving mother of William J. Flynn Jr. and his wife Jennifer; Robert and his wife Mary; Eileen Beysel and husband William; and the late John. Cherished sister of the late Mary Hart Terry; Elizabeth Wardlow; Kathleen Matusas; and Bernadette Morgan. Loving Grandmother of Peter, Kristin, Shannon, Billy, Grace, Sarah and Emma; Loving Great-Grandmother of 3.
