Obituary of Dennis Royal Gallagher

Dennis Royal Gallagher, 66, of Montville Township Dennis Royal Gallagher, 66, of Montville Township, passed away on September 1, 2016 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Dennis was born and raised in Brewster, New York and moved to Montville Township in 1979. Dennis was a professional accountant. He was very active in youth sports. He was the ice hockey team manager for the Colonials at Mennen Arena and the Devils at South Mountain Arena. Dennis also coached baseball and softball in Montville. Dennis is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Robin, and his loving children Gillian Gallagher and Grant and his wife Katie Gallagher. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Carlene. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas Sr. and Marjorie Gallagher,and his brother Thomas Gallagher Jr. Visitation for Dennis will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 9-11AM at Dangler, Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 W. Main Street, Boonton, NJ, followed at 11:30AM with a Funeral Mass at St. Peters the Apostle Church, 179 Baldwin Rd. Parsippany, NJ . Interment will follow immediately at Holy Rood Cemetery on Whippany Road in Morristown.
