Obituary of Thomas Anthony Cascella

Thomas A. Cascella, 88, of Boonton, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Morristown Memorial. He was also known as "Bisquit" and was born and raised in Newark, NJ, before moving to Boonton in 1967. He was a Design Engineer and retired from Technical Service Co. in Roschelle Park. Tom proudly served in the US Army and received the Army of Occupation Medal Japan. He was an avid Golfer and member of the VFW Hennessey Post 712 in Newark and the Peace Pipe.
Thomas was the beloved husband, of 47 years, to Ernestine M (nee Prevost) Cascella, cherished brother of Robert Cascella and the late Joseph, John and Carmine Cascella; also surviving many nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 starting at 8:30 AM at Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main St. in Boonton, with a 9:30 AM funeral mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, in Boonton. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 4-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
