Obituary of Arnold J. D'Andrea

Arnold J. D'Andrea, 96 Boonton, New Jersey Arnold J. D'Andrea, 96, passed away at his home peacefully on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, surrounded by his family. He was born in Dartmore, West Virginia and was a lifelong resident of Boonton, NJ. He attended BHS and Rutgers University. Arnold was an engineer for Curtis Wright for 38 years, before retiring in 1979. He was an avid golfer all his life. After retirement he became the Pro at Hidden Hills Golf Course in Hacketstown. He also served as Alderman for the town of Boonton. Arnold was predeceased by his beloved wife of 58 years Dorothy (nee Rivers) and son-in-law Clifford Rutter. Survivors include his son Arnold Jr. of PA, and daughters Dorothy Murray and her husband Thomas of Rockaway, Diane Rutter of Boonton Twp., Danielle Leone and her husband John of Boonton, Deborah Addesso and her husband Dominic of Andover; cherished grandfather of 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 8:00 AM at Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main St. in Boonton, then to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel for the funeral mass at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, in Boonton. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 4 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
