Petrica Lukin (nee Budesa), 89, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Merry Heart of Boonton Twp. She was born in Olib, Croatia and settled in the United States in 1964, living in Newark, Irvington and then to Boonton, in 1974.

Petrica was a home maker and loved cooking, sewing and taking care of her garden. She was a devote Catholic serving as past President of the Rosary Society at St. Cyril & Methodius/St. Raphael’s Church in NYC.

Petrica was the beloved wife of the late Ivan Lukin; loving mother of Marinko and his wife Snjezana (Ana), John and his wife Aida, Tereza (Teri) Rogic and her husband Emil, and the late Anamaria Lukin; cherished sister of Maria Badurina and the late Anka Cukar; loving grandmother of Emily, Mario, Daniela, Johnny, Marko, Kristina, Tomislav, and Anthony; and also great grandmother of Tariyana, Olivia, Eliana, Chantel and Evan.

Relatives and friends may call at the Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home at 312 West Main St. Boonton, NJ on Monday, August 19, 2013 from 4-9 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Tuesday, August 20, at 9 AM followed by the Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 910 Birch St., Boonton at 10:00 AM.
