Obituary of Doris Hadden

Doris Hadden (nee Journey), 85 Hilton Head, SC Doris Hadden (nee Journey), 85 years old, passed away May 2, 2013 in Hilton Head, SC. She was born in Glen Ridge, NJ, raised in Bloomfield before moving to Boonton and then retiring in Hilton Head, SC. Mrs. Hadden was employed and retired from Prudential Hilton Head Properties, in SC. She was a member of the Carmelite Third Order and a consecrated hermit. She was beautiful inside and out, kind and deeply spiritual. During her life she loved dancing, skating, tennis, gardening, bike riding, cooking and walking the shores of HHI Sound. Doris was the beloved wife of the late Victor Hadden. She is survived by her loving children Michael, Sharon Braden(Mike), Brian(Sherry), Kevin, John(Sheila), and Kenneth; cherished grandchildren Jamie, Tanner, Colleen, Christopher, Taylor and Clayton and great grandchild Rosa; loving sister of the late Marie Smack and the late George Journey . Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Boonton, N.J. at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, in Boonton.
