Stephen Bohacik passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 peacefully, with his wife at his side.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street in Boonton, followed by a 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Cyril & Methodius Church, 215 Hill St., in Boonton. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, 145 Mount Airy Rd., Bernardsville, N.J. Visiting will be on Friday 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Stephen was born in Boonton and lived in Boonton Township. He was employed by Air Craft Radio, as an Electrical Technician. He graduated from Boonton High School in 1939 and was a member of the Boonton Panthers Social Club. He proudly served in World War II for the US Army from 1943-1946 as a Tech 4th Grade and participated in the Battle of the Bulge, receiving the EAME Campaign Medal; Good Conduct Medal; and the World War II Victory Medal
Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Edith (nee Battista) of 51 years; and loving niece, Barbara Battisto.
