Mary “Pat” Conn “nee Aquilino” Boonton, New Jersey Mary A. Conn “nee Aquilino”, also known as “Pat”, passed away Monday, April 29, 2013, at her home peacefully. She was 102 years old. Pat was born and raised in Boonton and was a lifelong resident there. Pat worked and retired from the Boonton Board of Education in 1982. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic Daughters of America and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Howard “Bunny” Conn (1993). She was predeceased by her siblings Lena Sereno, Jenny Aquilino, Alphonse Aquilino, Roxie Aquilino, Margaret Marhefka, Antonette “Daisy” Compoli, and Joseph Aquilino; surviving are her cherished nieces and nephews John Sereno, John Marhefka Sr., Craig Compoli, Patricia Aquilino Alderiso, Arlene Compoli, Michele Aquilino; loving great nieces and nephews Fred Sereno, Marie Sereno, Michael Sereno, Beth Dailey, Denise Hampton, John Marhefka Jr., Craig Compoli Jr., Noelle Lusardi and Ryan Compoli; and 15 great-great nieces and nephews, along with 4 great- great-great nieces and nephews; also her devoted extended family Yanira Torres, Oliver Torres, and Ronnie Torres; and neighbors Eddie and Susan Brigati, Adriana Scerbo, Sheldon Wright, and Danise and Butch Drugak. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 3, 2013 at Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street, Boonton, NJ at 9:00 am, with a 10:00 am Funeral mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, in Boonton. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, in Boonton. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, May 2, 2013 from 4 to 8 pm. at Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Mary’s name to Our Lady of Mount Carmel or St John’s Episcopal Church in Boonton, or to the South Boonton Fire Department.
