Bruce Edwin Jensen, 9-27-1933 to 2-2-2015 Montville, NJ Bruce Jensen was born and raised in North Troy, New York. He was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School and Sienna College. Prior to College he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served with the First Marine Division in Korea. He was wounded in action on September 6, 1952 and was awarded a Purple Heart for his service. After college he became a Federal Agent and when he retired in 1985, was the Special Agent in charge of the New York Division of the Drug Enforcement Administration responsible for all DEA, activities in the State of New York. He was a member of the First Marine Division Association, the Marines Corps League, the New York State Association of Chiefs of Police, the American Legion and the Veterans of Lansingburgh. He will be buried in the Oakwood Cemetery in Troy New York next to his wife, Joan, of thirty-eight years, who passed away in 1998. He is survived by his three daughters, Cathleen Milano of Rockaway, NJ; Karen Dispenziere of Wantage, NJ and Colleen Lubertazzi of Byram Township, NJ. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Andrew and Christopher Milano, Katelyn and Ashley Dispenziere and Daniel and Jack Lubertazzi. Box 566 West Caldwell, NJ 07007-0566 His wake will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 4 to 8 PM at the Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street in Boonton, NJ. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 starting at 10:00 at the funeral home following a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, in Montville. His funeral will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Troy New York on Saturday, February 7, 2015 after a brief service at the Oakwood Chapel.
