Obituary of Robert Louis Kline

Robert Louis Kline, 92, of Boonton, NJ Robert Louis Kline, 92, of Boonton, passed away at home on May 16, 2016, with his loving family by his side. Robert was born and raised in Boonton, and was a lifelong resident. Robert proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. Robert worked as a shipping manager for Boonton Handbag, prior to working as a custodian at John Hill Grammar School in Boonton, from where he retired. He was a lifetime member of the Boonton American Legion Post and a former member of the South Boonton Field Club. Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years Dorothy (nee Mehalick), his three loving daughters Kathy Rohrabacher(Cliff), Karen Rapone (Richard) and Roberta Kline. Robert is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Jennifer, Thomas and Celeste, and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation for Robert will take place on Wednesday May 18, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, at Dangler, Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 W. Main Street, Boonton, NJ 07005.The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday May 19, 2016, at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 910 Birch Street, Boonton, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Boonton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Robert's name be made to the Hospice of VNA of Northern New Jersey, 175 South Street, Morristown, NJ 07960.
