Obituary of Ruth May Coleman

Ruth May Coleman (nee Allen) 90 Rockaway Twp, NJ Ruth May Coleman (nee Allen) 90, died on Monday, September 1, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Rockaway Township. Ruth was born and raised in Binghamton NY. She met her beloved husband Vince after he served in WWII. They married on December 7, 1951, and moved to Boonton where she raised her family. They moved to Fox Hills, in Rockaway in 2001. As a young lady, Ruth was an Executive Secretary for Klee Insurance Agency in Binghamton. Ruth would get up early and deliver newspapers to everyone on her floor and would bake for her family every week. Ruth was generous and gave to many charitable organizations. Ruth is the beloved wife of the late Vincent P. Sr.. Devoted mother of Carol Coleman (Tony Doudoukjia), Nancy Coleman, Michael Coleman, and Suzanne Coleman Sasso (Dominick), and the late Vincent P. Jr.. Loving sister of Donald Allen and the late Constance Craver and Earl Allen. Cherished grandmother of Chrissy Hammer (Ryan), Rachel Smith (Kevin), Jamie Lawrence, Heather Condurso, Michael Coleman, Becky Lawrence, Bart Condurso, and Christina Jeffers (James). Great Grandmother of Michael and Isabella Ruthie Hammer. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street Boonton, NJ 07005 at 9:00 AM. Then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church 910 Birch Street in Boonton for the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Boonton.
