Antonio Alcantara, 74, of Boonton, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in Peru; then moving to Paterson, NJ and has lived in Boonton since 1999. He worked for Westwood Lighting Ind., in Paterson.
Antonio was the beloved husband, of 50 years, to Maria (Camino) Alcantara ; loving father of Javier and his wife Ana, Madelaine Anderson and her husband Richard, and the late Marco Antonio Alcantara; cherished grandfather of Angelica, Alexandria, Natalie, Samantha and Austin; and also surviving are family members in Peru.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 12 noon at Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main St., in Boonton; with a 1:00 pm Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 910 Birch St., in Boonton. Interment will follow to Greenwood Cemetery, in Boonton. Visiting will be on Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 2-6 PM at the funeral home.
