Obituary of Edith L Porzio

Edith L. Porzio, 93, of Boonton, NJ Edith L. Porzio, age 93, of Boonton, NJ, passed away peacefully after a long illness on April 17, 2016, at Franciscan Oaks, Denville, NJ. A homemaker, she was the wife of the late Ralph Porzio, Esq., and mother of the late Ralph E. Porzio. She leaves daughter Ann Porzio Lewis of Madison, NJ, grandson Jed Lewis of Marblehead MA, and brother Anthony Lori of Whippany, NJ. She was born in Boonton and was a life-long resident there. A past member of the Boonton Friendship Club and a Boonton High School graduate, Edith enjoyed creating fine seamstress work and intricate knitting and embroidery. The daughter of the late Domenica and Frank Lori of Boonton, Edith was predeceased by a brother, Samuel J. Lori of Dover, NJ, and sister Amelia Migdol of Boonton. She is survived by son-in-law Neale Y. Lewis, sisters- in- law Helen Lori and Betty Lori, six nieces, a nephew and grand nieces and nephews. Visitation for Edith will take place on Thursday April 28, 2016, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM, at Dangler, Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 W. Main Street, Boonton, NJ 07005. Funeral Services will commence at 9:00 AM, Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St Catherine of Sienna Church, 10 North Pocono Road, Mountain Lakes, NJ 07046.
