Ernestine Marie Cascella, 97

Ernestine Marie Cascella, 97, was born and raised in Boonton. She was a graduate of Boonton High School and member of the Boontonites. Ernestine started off as a model then progressed to management and worked in retail for over 30 years for Sterns and Quakernbush. She was avid golfer and cook. A life long member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Ernestine acted as the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Alumni Coordinator as well them president of fundraising for over 20 years. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and Boonton Seniors.

Ernestine outlived her beloved husband Thomas Cascella of Newark, NJ who had many nieces and nephews. She is survived by niece Eugenia Murphy and family.

Visiting will be on Tuesday, November 5 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home. There will be a funeral service at 3:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
