Douglas James Sikora, 57, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on August 3, 2024. Beloved husband of 26 years to Kimberly Sikora (nee Orriss). Devoted father of Conor Sikora, Nathan Sikora and Sophia Sikora. Cherised son of late Joseph Sr. and Mildred Sikora (nee Ayers). Loved son-in-law of Richard and Linda Orriss. Dear brother of Larry Sikora and Joseph Sikora, Jr. He also leaves behind his canine companions Finley and Wally. 

Douglas was an adventurous man. He loved to mountain bike, snowboard, hike, and kayak with Kim, his children, as well as cherished friends. In recent times, Doug and Kim could be found hiking their dogs most weekends or biking together. 

He was extremely selfless and filled everyone’s hearts with laughter and kindness. He was an excellent craftsman and specialized in fine wood carpentry. He handcrafted a beautiful home where his family and friends made priceless memories. He was the founder and owner of Sikora Carpentry & Fine Woodworking to later finish his career at John Earle LLC, Rockaway. 

Family and friends are welcome for Memorial Visitation on Thursday, August 8th from 4-8pm at Dangler, Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street, Boonton.
