Of all the blur that was growing up and elementary school, Mrs. Martin stands out as one of those special educators who really connected with and touched each and every student that entered her classroom. I remember time spent reading childhood classics, working through writing and grammar exercises, and spending Friday afternoons watching I Love Lucy in her class so fondly.

Mrs Martin was my teacher and then years later she taught my son. She was so passionate about teaching and such a loving, caring person! She touched so many lives. I remember everything she read to the class. She gave us butterfly kisses with her eyelashes !! She made us all feel soo special! Oh…she will be missed. She was just an amazing individual! Loved her!!

Mrs. Martin was my teacher when I was in 4th grade. She was so loving, I remember how she would hug us all of the time and cry tears of joy when we would do things that touched her heart. Her care for all of us was unmatched and she will forever be in my heart. I am so proud and lucky to have known her and have her be such an important part of my childhood.

Lynn was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, friend and teacher. Never uttered a harsh word. God bless.

Lynn taught 4th grade next door to me for a number of years at Wildwood. She was a great mentor, who always had time to help me and share a laugh. And, boy, did we laugh! She picked my brain about what it was like to be an only child, and I consulted her constantly about teaching. Lynn was one of the first happy, welcoming faces of my career. I even remember that Mike would come in to put up Lynn’s bulletin boards because he got the border corners so perfect! My heart hurts to know that she has passed, but knowing Lynn, I’m sure she’s still looking out for all of us. I’ve thought of her so often over the years. We were all so lucky to have been a part of her orbit.

Our love to all of you! "Mrs. Martin is a beloved teacher from Mountain Lakes - Wildwood School. She was warm, kind and inclusive with all families and children. Our children never had the good fortune to have her as their teacher but I would find them in her homeroom at the end of school. She greeted you with a warm smile and wonderful sense of humor. Hugs, The Peacock Family

I'm one of the ones from "first grade". So many memories and laughs. Our BHS Reunion Committee meetings would always turn into OLMC memories! Will miss "Sis" and her kind, wonderful heart. We all shared our love of the Blessed Mother. First thing I thought of was Lynn was there with Mary. Love to all the family, especially Mike, Elizabeth and her family and, of course, Linda.
