James Daniel Rodriguez Obituary

On July 5, 2024 James Daniel Rodriguez passed away. James was born in Lugo, Spain and came to the United States on the Andrea Doria in 1952. He was a Vietnam Veteran and served our country during combat. James was a car enthusiast and enjoyed watching the news on his computer and television. James was employed by Jays Syrup Co. for over 40 years continuing on to work for the Montville School System before retiring.


James is survived by his wife of 58 years Maureen (née) Sheldon, son James Rodriguez Jr., daughter Jane (née) Rodriguez, son-in-law Thomas Borger, Grandson TJ, sister-in law Maria Bolton Pugsley and Guy Pugsley, and nephews Brandon Bolton and Nicolas Dougard.


James was predeceased by his father and mother, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and nephew Mateo Bolton.


Viewing will be at Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street in Boonton  Sunday July 7, 2024 from 9:00 at to 12:00 noon, with Military Honors at 11:15 prior to the Funeral Service at
