Kathleen Shea, 70, of Boonton, NJ passed away peacefully, after a short illness, on October 7, 2023.

Kathleen was a Boonton High School Graduate, class of 1971 and has lived in Boonton for over 30 years.  She was a Customer Service Representative for Omega Logistics in Edison, NJ for many years.

Kathleen Enjoyed Sports, Reading and the Jersey Shore.  She was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins and the New York Yankees.  Her favorite summer pastime was watching Baseball.

Kathleen was loved & will be missed by family she leaves behind, Brother Frederick Scheel and his wife Sandra of NC, Her sister Patricia Whitley and her Husband James Kickham, Morristown, NJ.  She was pre-deceased by Her Parents, Frederick & Carolyn Scheel of Nutley, NJ and Brother, Jeffrey Scheel of Augusta, GA.

She was a wonderful Aunt to Fred & Dan Scheel, Carla Anderson, Robert & John Whitley & Jeffrey, Stephen, Alex and Kyle Scheel.  She was also a Great Aunt to Dan, Chris, James, & Katie Anderson, Emily & Charles Scheel, Rachel & John Marshall Scheel, Casey, Lucas, Skylar & Nolan Whitley & Audrey Scheel.  She was a Great Great Aunt to Clara Rickey.   In addition, Kathy had a loving extended family that was a huge part of her life.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, located at 312 West Main St. in Boonton, NJ.

To Honor Kathleen’s Memory and at the Family’s request, donations can be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.
