Melanie Yakstis, 69, of Bartonsville, PA, passed away in Florida on July 1, 2023.

Devoted daughter of John and Anita (Kanouse) Kohut. Beloved wife for 46 years to Anthony Yakstis. Loving step-mother of Art Walker. Dear sister of Anita Kohut.

Melanie loved music, travel and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She especially loved her canine companions, in her spare time she volunteered to rescue animals. 

Memorial visitation will be on Saturday, August 26th, from 9-11 PM at Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street, Boonton.

Funeral service will commence at 11 AM at the funeral home. 

Inurnment will follow in Rockaway Valley Cemetery, Boonton.
