Charles ‘Chuck’ Flatt III, 64,  born in Denville, NJ on January 18, 1959, died peacefully on April 27, 2023. He was a life long resident of Boonton, NJ. Chuck owned and operated a local business Flatt Glass Co., for over 20 years.

He was a loving father to his two daughters Sarah and Jessica Flatt. Chuck was a simple man who loved the outdoors. He loved family, fishing, hunting, camping, motorcycles, and long Sunday drives with a cup of tea or coffee. I can assure that locals who knew him will miss his waves up and down Main Street. 

 He is survived by his father Charles Flatt Jr. of Boonton, sister Sandy Baldini and brother-in-law, Russ Baldini of Stockholm, his daughter Sarah Connelly, son-in-law, John Connelly of Boonton, and daughter Jessica Flatt of Rockaway. He is also survived by his four grandchildren who were his biggest joys in this world, Johnny, Mia, Christian and Jacob, as well as many loving nieces and nephews, friends, and neighbors. He is predeceased by sister Allison Brangle of Bradenton, FL and mother Caroline Gray Flatt of Boonton.  

His last few years with us were a struggle but a blessing, and he enjoyed every minute of them. Breathe easy dad- as you always said “see you later alligator”.

A memorial viewing service will be held on May 13 from 2-4pm at Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 W. Main Street, Boonton.
