Q: Where did Karen like to travel? A: As Karen’s stepbrother Joe, I could see how shy she was when I first met her, but it didn’t take long for me to get her to come around, from then on we always had a loving brother sister relationship. When I met Karen in 1969 my soon to be sister in law she was still shy but less so. Karen was always quiet, but when she had something to say everyone listened. I loved Karen, she was a very sweet person. One of my favorite memories was sitting and talking with Karen at Courtney and Greg’s wedding, she was so happy and proud.

With her husband Keith being my childhood best friend from the age of 3 or 4 years old till being forced to move to New Mexico in 1973. Karen and I were a number for a short time in 1970 and as things turned out my best buddy won her over and they were together till the end. My heart is very heavy for Him and his lovely family. Even the dog will have a hard time adjusting to the current situation. As I said when I lost my Wife and Best Friend God gives and He takes away... Cherish each moment you have together because you never know when you won't see them again till you meet again in Heaven. God will help you make it through the tough days ahead. RIP dear Karen. I will never forget our times in Boonton.

Even though our lives took us a different paths, I will always think of Karen as one of my best friends. She was a beautiful soul. Heaven has received another angel.
