Roy A. Richards, Sr., 96, of Boonton passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street in Boonton. Roy was born in Rosemont, West Virginia and lived in Boonton for many years. He worked at the Mechanical Institute in Boonton as a Supervisor. Roy was a long time member of the Kiwanis in Boonton. He proudly served in the Merchant Marines during World War II.

Roy was the beloved husband of the late Gloria Richards (nee Kaminsky). Devoted father of Roy A. Richards Jr. and his wife Carole. Cherished grandfather of Thomas and Kelly. Great grandfather of Lena, Sadie, Sienna, Shelby, Hunter, and Paisley. Loving uncle of Marty and his wife Nancy, his nieces; Lynn, Linda, and Toni Ann. Great uncle of Allison and Anthony.
