Obituary of Margaret A Crochery

Margaret A. (Peggy) Crochery, 99, of Boonton, passed away on August 31, 2021 at Boonton Care Center in Boonton Township. Born in Boonton, Margaret was a lifelong resident.

Prior to retirement, Margaret worked as an assembly worker at Aircraft Radio in Boonton Township. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 4-7 PM at the Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 W. Main Street, Boonton, NJ 07005. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 9:30 AM, at  Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 910 Birch Street, Boonton, NJ 07005. Interment will follow immediately at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, NJ 07936.

Margaret is survived by her niece Janet La Chance; nephew Daniel Crochery (Karen);1 great niece Danielle Westenberger (George) and one great nephew Danny Crochery; and one great great niece Emma. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Alfredo and Mary Crochery; and siblings Minnie De Graw, Violet Magill, Daniel Crochery and Joseph Crochery.

In lieu of flowers,  the family kindly requests that donation be made in Margaret’s name to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerlewisandcareyfuneralhome.com.
