Obituary of Pasquale Paul Savarese Jr.

Pasquale “Pat” Savarese, Jr., 85, of Boonton passed away on July 8, 2021. Pat was born and raised in Brooklyn moving to Parsippany in 1963, settling in Boonton Township in 1983.

 

Pat was the owner/operator of P. Savarese and Sons, a wholesaler of delicatessen meats. He was an avid sports fan, especially hockey, which he both played at a very high level and coached. Pat was extremely devoted to his family and loved to watch his grandkids play sports. Later in life, Pat enjoyed playing golf with his family and friends.

Visiting will be held at The Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street, Boonton, NJ 07005, on Sunday, July 11, 2021, from 3-7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on  Monday, July 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 10 North Pocono Rd. Mountain Lakes, NJ 07046. Interment will follow immediately at Rockaway Valley Cemetery, Powerville Rd. , Boonton Township, NJ 07005.

 

Pat was the beloved husband of Gail of 63 years. He is survived by his loving children Tom Savarese, Chris Savarese and Gina Savarese. Pat is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Steven, Matthew, Ryan, Sydnie, Rylie and Addison.
