Obituary of Barbara Ann Galluzzi

Barbara Ann (nee Roche) Galluzzi, 90, of Boonton

 

Barbara Ann (nee Roche) Galluzzi, 90, of Boonton, passed away on July 4, 2021 at her residence. Barbara was born and raised in Brooklyn moving to Boonton in 1956.

 

Barbara was extremely devoted to her family. She was a longtime member of the Friendship Club, the Boontonites, the Rosary Society, and was a Eucharistic Minister and volunteer at the thrift shop at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.

 

Visiting will be held at The Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street, Boonton, NJ 07005, on Thursday, July 8, 2021, from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on  Friday, July 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 910 Birch Street, Boonton, NJ 07005. Interment will follow immediately at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Wootton Street, Boonton, NJ, 07005

 

Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years Robert Galluzzi, Grandson Sean Downtain, and her brother David Roche.  She is survived by her loving children Paul Galluzzi, Carolyn Berry (George), Jane Di Giosaffatte , Philip Galluzzi (Beth), Anne Galluzzi, and Joseph Galluzzi (Joanne). Barbara is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerlewisandcareyfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Barbara’s name to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.
