Former Montville Township Clerk.

 

Gladys C. Jarombek, age 98. Of Montville, NJ, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 at The Oaks in Denville.

 

Visiting will be held at The Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street, Boonton, NJ 07005, 0n Thursday, April 29, 2021, from 4:00-8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on  at 10 AM Friday, April 30, 2021 at St. Pius X Church, 24 Changebridge Road, Montville, NJ 07045. Gladys served as the Township Clerk of Montville Township for 42 years, retiring on December 31, 1998.

 

She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Montville Fire Department.

 

When she began working for Montville Township, she also served as the Township Court Clerk, under the supervision of Judge Miriam Bogert, followed by Judge Robert Fogelson.

 

Her husband, Stephen A Jarombek passed away on July 16, 1982.

 

Gladys is survived by her loving son Richard S. Jarombek, Los Angeles, California, a brother, a sister and two sisters-in-law and their families.

 

During the COVID 19 pandemic, all persons entering the Funeral Home or Church

will be required to wear a face mask or face covering throughout their stay. Likewise, all social distancing rules must be adhered to. Gathering in groups should not happen. A continued flow throughout the facility will aid in keeping us all safe, with everyone having an opportunity to pay their respects.
