Bernadette M. Johnson, 75

 

Bernadette M. Johnson, (nee Bacchetta) 75, passed away on February 17, 2021. She was born in Morristown and was raised in Boonton, before moving to Rockaway Borough and settling into Panther Valley.

 

Bernadette worked for over 40 years at RFI in Boonton Township. In retirement, Bernadette spent time with family and new friends, exploring Warren County and enjoying watching Hallmark movies and Notre Dame football.

 

Bernadette was predeceased by her beloved husband Thomas E Johnson, and her father and mother, Augustine and Margaret Bacchetta, She is survived by her loving sisters Jacinta Bacchetta and Mary Bacchetta; and many cousins.

 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 26, 2021, 10:30 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 10 North Pocono Rd., Mountain Lakes, NJ 07046. Interment will follow immediately at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Wootton Street in Boonton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bernadette’s name to Catholic Charities, 77 Valley Road, Clifton, NJ 07013. , or Lenape Boston Terrier Club, 4157 Durham Road, Ottsville, PA 18942. During the COVID 19 pandemic, all persons entering the Funeral Home or Church will be required to wear a face mask or face covering throughout their stay. Likewise, all social distancing rules must be adhered to. Gathering in groups should not happen. A continued flow throughout the facility will aid in keeping us all safe, with everyone having an opportunity to pay their respects.
