I was saddened to hear about Mike’s passing. When I was 4 years old my cousin lived next door to Mike who was just finishing up high school at the time. We followed him around like he was the pied piper, he always treated us like we were special. I ran into Mike many times through the years, he was a great guy and a lot of fun. Mike had 4 good kids. I remember them from Boonton High when I taught there, and would like them to know how sorry I am. RIP my friend. John Butch Vnenchak.

One of my fondest memories were of you teaching our Grandson Jacen, the proper way to raise the flag and when to lower it to half-mast out of respect for those we've loved and lost. You will be sorely missed by many. Rest in peace my friend
