I think of you every day. I was Jeff's roommate and training partner from around 2004 - 2010; we met when I was in my late 20s at a car show. I called him brother; he was the last family I had left. Every time I ride, I tell him it's for him. Knees in the breeze, brother.

Where do I begin. We have known Jeff for many years. He was part of our family. He spent many holidays and family events with us. I was proud to call him my son, as he always called me Mom. Every phone call he would end with “I love you Mom”. He left this world too soon. So many people depended on him for support and his open heart. His appearance was huge just like his heart. My son Adam is going to miss stopping in almost every day at USA Wheels to visit Jeff and give him a hug. There will always be a void in our lives. I will always set a plate for him at our table in hopes that his spirit will join us. Jeff, we will miss you. We love you. The Erven’s.

My heart is broken in 100000 pieces right now i just talked to u!! I am shocked, numb and at a loss for words! We have been friends forever u were my best friend u always made me laugh and was always there to lift me up when I was down. You would give the shirt off of your back for anyone! My heart is broken over the loss of my dear friend Jeff.Ive known Jeff for over 25 years.Ive cut his hair for many years at Hair Core in East Hanover, NJ. We stayed friends all thru the years.He was a wonderful person, and would do anything for anyone..My fondest memory was when he brought us in an Easter Basket to the shop for all the girls.He was soo proud he made it for us..We always kept in contact with each other every week.He even helped me with my car and drove me back n forth to work..I can't even tell you the loss I feel that he won't be around anymore..He will always have a special place in my heart.I will Miss You, Jeff.My heartfelt sympathy to your family ..Love, Sandy

I don’t want to let this moment go by without acknowledging the life & sudden death of our long time next door neighbor and friend who had a home in Lake Hopatcong, NJ. Jeff was an awesome human being, who was a friend to all, had the biggest heart, always accommodating to all he knew, but had no problem telling it like it was. He lived life to the fullest and was a great neighbor, very engaging, and loved our pups! I had free access to his property to let Wally & Keely run free in his fenced in yard. They loved you uncle Jeff! We were always invited over for get togethers, and I will never forget the ride in his suped up boat. At the very least, I owe these heartfelt words to you my friend. RIP. My Deepest Condolences to the entire Ackerman Family. I Met Jeff when i was at a turning point of my life. I met Jeff through a friend of a friend and saw he had a 1932 Yellow Roadster at a car show back in the days. we talked, started a great friendship, bounced and ran security at some night clubs. Jeff taught me a better and safer way to work out and enjoy myself without getting hurt. i would of never got that kind of training anywhere. he is a True Gem. we talked about our fears and what drives us to have peace in life. I will miss the best Christmas Parties Jeff would have at the house in Booton, NJ. And them High Speed Pursuits on the highway, weeeeeeeee. Jeff had a very Big Heart in helping the poor and less fortunate kids around times of need all the time. Alot of people do not know the great big tasks of love and Hope he tried to move on to everyday strangers in Need, the special way Jeff talked to you. so many emotions writing this down but i have to be the messenger in a sign of Faith , Hope and Love for the lost of my friend Jeff. may you not leave this world alone or afraid. you will connect with your Father in open arms as the Highlands of Heaven shines that Bright Light right through your body with a great Big Dog Bear Hug.
