Dear Janet,
I received your note today with Mom's letter inside. A flood of memories came over me plus, the sadness of losing Mom in 2018. I understand what you are going through and I am so very sorry.
However, we all did have fun times!
Fourth of July celebrations were dedicated to visiting the Price family for years! There was always a ton of food, laughter and fireworks.
I remember your sister Karen well, she was a dynamo! So pretty and independent. You and your brother shyer, like me.
Your mom had great expression and a wonderful laugh. She laughed freely which I always loved!
My husband and I had a photography business and spent many weekends making extra money photographing High School Reunions. At one reunion after gathering the class for a big group shot, I spotted your Mom, sitting front and center. I pointed to her and said, HI! She didn't recognize me and I know I kept her wondering who I was throughout the time spent on the photo. After the group was photographed I went right over to her - hugs and kisses abounded.
I remember you all fondly and I hope all is well.
I will also write separately.
