Eleanor S. Dworak, 89, of Boonton

Eleanor S. Dworak, 89, of Boonton, passed away peacefully at home with her daughter Kathy and family beside her, on October 19, 2019. She was Born and raised on Thomson St. in Greenwich Village  New York City. Eleanor moved to Boonton in 1960.

Eleanor  was very involved as parishioner, in the Rosary Society and sat in Perpetual Adoration at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Boonton, and then at St. Peter’s Church in Parsippany. She received her Bachelors from DuCret School of the Arts at the age of 56 and worked as a Graphic Designer ,Pot Painter, Cake Decorator and infamous Tupperware Lady. She later worked as a Teachers’ assistant in Morristown school for the developmentally delayed. She enjoyed acting in College Theatre and was a habitual Dancer on weekends.

Her infectious laugh , sense of humor and positive attitude will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM at The Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street Boonton, NJ 07005. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 PM, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 910 Birch Street, Boonton, NJ 07005. Interment will follow immediately at St. Mary’s Cemetery, on Wootton Street, in Boonton. Repass at Boonton Station, Boonton NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Eleanor’s name to  Alzheimer’s New Jersey, Attn: Development Department, 425 Eagle Rock Avenue #203, Roseland, NJ 07068.

Eleanor is survived by her loving children Meg Dworak, Kenneth Dworak (Lina), Richard Dworak and Kathy Byram-Javitz (Stephen Javitz); her cherished grandchildren Samantha, Andrew, Morgan, Ava, Craig, Victoria, Kristina, Timothy, Kaitlyn and Heidi; her great grandchildren Kaiden, Dahlia, Acacia and Gaea, and her siblings Marie De Ruve, Diane Helmke and Frank Sabatino.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Stanley W. Dworak Sr., her son Stanley W. Dworak Jr., her grandson Matthew Byram Jr.,
