Rose Marie Onorati, 85, of Boonton Township

Rose Marie Onorati, 85, of Boonton Township passed away on November 25, 2018 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville. Rose was born in New York, NY, grew up in Denville and lived in Boonton before settling in Boonton Township.

Rose was a proud home maker, who also enjoyed playing golf at Mt. Tabor and Eagle Marsh Country Clubs. Rose Marie met her beloved husband Peter when he helped her open her locker at Boonton High School.

Visitation will be held at The Dangler, Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 W. Main Street, Boonton on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Boonton. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Boonton.

Rose is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Peter Onorati; their loving sons Peter D. Onorati (Jeanette) and Jack Onorati (Rose); her cherished grandchildren Sebastiano, Francesco, Giancarlo, John, Daniel and Julia; her loving siblings Lena Diodato and Vinnie De Palma.
