Obituary of Holly Maria Gentile

Holly Maria Gentile, 21, of Sparta

Holly Maria Gentile, 21, of Sparta, passed away on October 29, 2018 at Newton Memorial Hospital. Born in Morristown, Holly was raised in Montville, before settling in Sparta.

Holly graduated from Montville High School. She was currently attending County College of Morris.  Holly loved life, going to the beach, traveling, and in the past had pursued a modeling career. She was currently wanting to attend to school to be a social worker.  She also loved all dogs and animals. Holly was an organ donor.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018, from 10 AM – 1 PM at The Dangler, Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 W. Main Street, Boonton, NJ 07005, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 1:30 PM at St. Pius X Church, 24 Changebridge Road, Montville, NJ, followed by the interment at Rockaway Valley Cemetery in Boonton Township. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Holly’s name to One Step Closer Animal Rescue (OSCAR), 155 Stanhope Sparta Road, Andover, NJ 07821.

Holly was the beloved daughter of Michael and Laura Gentile; loving granddaughter of Michael and the late Ruth Gentile and Mary Gonski and the late Herman Gonski; cherished sister of Michael and Nicholas Gentile; caring niece of Mark Gonski, Barbara and Jeff Chammings, Donna Rana Gentile, Debbie and Jimmy Abbood and  Dayna and Jimmy Gianguercio. She is also survived by many cousins, her boyfriend Rui Nogueria, and her beloved dog Shiloh.
