Henry Joseph Mola, 91, of Mountain Lakes

Henry Joseph Mola, 91, of Mountain Lakes passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on September 15, 2018. Henry was born in Morristown and was a lifelong resident of Mountain Lakes.

Prior to retirement, Henry was a self- employed business owner for 70 years, starting with his paving company, ending as the owner of Mitchko Trucking . Henry was a daily communicant at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Mountain Lakes. He was a member of the Morris County 200 Club, and an honorary member of the Boonton Elks.

Throughout his life in the community, Henry’s passion for mentoring youth helped him to touch many lives, which will always be fondly remembered by his loved ones. Henry was an extremely kind and generous individual, helping many people from all walks of life. He would volunteer his time and resources to both individuals and worthy organizations in need.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, from 3-7 PM at The Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street Boonton, NJ 07005. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at 10:00 AM, at  St. Catherine of Siena Church, 10 North Pocono Road, Mountain Lakes, NJ .  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Henry’s name to the Boonton Kiwanis First Aid Squad, PO Box 16, Boonton, NJ 07005, or the charity of your choice.

Henry was the beloved husband of the late Eileen (nee Fishinger), and his brother Joseph, and is survived by his loving daughters Karen Mola, Kathleen Mola–Staples (William), Kristine Barone (Pasquale), Kim Mola–Manella (Thomas Jr.) and Keri Mola–Rudd; cherished grandchildren Maria, Kristina, Thomas III, Elizabeth and Emily, and 6 great grandchildren
