Daniel Traficante, 82, of Boonton

Daniel Traficante, 82, of Boonton, passed away on July 3, 2018 at Kindred Hospital of NJ , in Dover. Daniel was born and raised in Rhode Island, eventually settling in Boonton many years ago.

Prior to retirement, Daniel worked as a chemical engineer at Exxon-Mobile in Florham Park. Daniel was an avid gardener, hunter, big fisherman and dog breeder. He also was a huge fan of both the New York Yankees and New Jersey Devils.

Daniel is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Johanna (nee Boesche) Traficante; his loving daughters Trish Barry (Bill) and Debbie Muhlberger (Eric); his cherished grandchildren Ryan, Kevin, Eric and Fiana; and his caring sister Joyce Traficante.

Funeral Services will be held privately, under the direction of Dangler, Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 W. Main Street, Boonton, NJ 07005.
