Eleanor Carolyn Mangam, 82, of Towaco

         

Eleanor Carolyn Mangam, 82, of Towaco passed away on May 2, 2018, at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville. Eleanor was born and raised in Queens, NY and lived in Brooklyn, NY, prior to settling in Towaco 65 years ago.

 

Eleanor worked for many years as a Registered Nurse at Riverside Hospital in Boonton Township. Prior to that, she worked for Dr. Brigante in Boonton.

 

Visitation for Eleanor will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Dangler, Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street, Boonton, NJ 07005. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 910 Birch Street, Boonton, NJ. Interment will follow immediately at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Eleanor’s name to the County College of Morris Foundation, 214 Centergrove Rd., Randolph, NJ, (www.com.edu/donate) to benefit the nursing program, or to The Market Street Mission, 9 Market Street, Morristown, NJ 07960.

 

Eleanor was predeceased by her beloved husband Milton J. Mangam, her daughter Margaret Mangam and her sister Anita San Gregorio. She is survived by her devoted children Anita Patterson and her husband Robert, Patricia Mangam and Mark Mangam and his wife Monica; her caring sisters Geraldine San Gregorio and Joan Catapano and her husband Raymond; her cherished grandchildren Kyle, Maria, Robert and Rose; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
