Alex Zenerovitz, 87 of Boonton, NJ passed away on Tuesday January 24, 2012 in St. Clares Hospital, Denville. Relatives and friends may call at Lewis & Carey Directors of Funerals, (www.lewisandcareyfh.com) 312 West Main Street, Boonton, NJ on Friday January 27th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be conducted on Saturday January 28th from the funeral home at 8:00 a.m. followed the Funeral Liturgy in St. John Russian Orthodox Church, 29 Weaver Street, Little Falls, NJ at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Ave, Clifton, NJ. Mr. Zenerovtiz was born in New York City and had lived in Manhattan before moving to Boonton in 1956. He was a Premium Auditor for the Home Insurance Company in Manhattan for several years before retiring 20 years ago. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and also served on the Boonton Board of Education in the 1960's. Mr. Zenerovitz is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Anna (nee Dizigan). Devoted father of Alexander and his wife Susan, Anita Sweeney, Andrew and his wife Anne, Anthony and his wife Trudy. Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
