Obituary of James Anthony Bolan

James "Jim" Anthony Bolan , 84, of Boonton Township James "Jim" Anthony Bolan, 84, of Boonton Township, passed away at home on April 1, 2016, with his loving family at his side. Jim was born in Paterson, and lived in Wyckoff, and Livingston before settling in Boonton Township in 1971. Jim was a Superintendant with the Boonton Township Board of Education before retiring. He was a member of the Boonton Township Historical Society , the American Association of School Administrators, the N.J. Association of School Administrators, the Morris County Association of School Administrators and the Canal Society of NJ. Jim was a true lover of history. Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years Eleanor, his loving stepsons John Cecere, Michael Cecere and Gary and his wife Denise Cecere. He is also survived by his caring sister Betty Przybysz, and his cherished grandchildren Matthew, Christopher, Anthony, Nicholas, Nicole and Garrett as well as his nieces Michele and Kelly. Visitation for Jim will be held on Sunday April 3, 2016 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM, at Dangler, Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 W. Main Street, Boonton, NJ 07005. Funeral Services will commence on Monday April 4, 2016, at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory to the Boonton Kiwanis, 150 Lathrop Ave., Boonton, NJ 07005, or the American Diabetes Association, 1701 N. Bearugard St., Alexandria, VA 22311, would be greatly appreciated. Jim was the love of my life and the best husband. I will miss you. May you rest in peace my love. Eleanor.
