Obituary of Lisa Shohen

Lisa Shohen, 66, of Boonton, NJ, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer with her loving family by her side on June 19, 2023.

Born on June 13, 1957, to the late George & Freda,(Buller) Tofani, in Norristown, PA. Lisa earned an associate degree in dental hygiene from Temple University. She was a Dental Hygienist in various practices in northern New Jersey for most of her life. Lisa was an extremely active leader and contributor with both the Girl Scouts & Boy Scouts with local troops throughout her lifetime.

Lisa is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Bruce Shohen, her sons Matthew and Andrew Shohen, daughter in-laws Lisa and Lauren Shohen, her grandchildren, Ashley, Emily, Benjamin, and Robert Shohen. She is also survived by her siblings David Tofani, Mary Ellen Dittemore, Robert Tofani, and Anita Pritchard.

Friends, neighbors, and those involved in the scouting community are welcome to visit Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main St. in Boonton on Saturday, June 24, 2023 to and pay respects from 10AM-12PM. Private Funeral Services will follow.
