In Loving Memory of Theresa Agugliaro

Some people are remembered for what they accomplished. Theresa Agugliaro will be remembered for how she made people feel—loved, welcomed, and always cared for.

Theresa, 81, of Boonton, New Jersey, entered into the loving arms of our Lord on July 8, 2026. Born on November 9, 1944, in the Bronx, New York, she spent her life guided by an unwavering Catholic faith and a love for her family that knew no limits.

To Theresa, family was everything. She found her greatest happiness not in material things, but in the simple joy of being surrounded by those she loved. Whether she was spending time with her children, celebrating milestones with her grandchildren, or watching her great-grandchildren grow, those moments filled her heart. She gave her love freely and generously, asking for nothing in return.

Anyone who knew Theresa knew her gentle spirit. She had a sweetness about her that made people feel at ease, a generous heart that was always ready to help others, and a quiet strength rooted in her faith. She lived her life with kindness, humility, and compassion, leaving an example that her family will carry with them always.

Theresa was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Agugliaro Sr., whom she loved deeply throughout their life together. While her passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved her, we find comfort in knowing they are reunited once again.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Colleen Vasilopoulos, Patrick Agugliaro, and George Agugliaro; her cherished grandchildren, Joseph Vasilopoulos, Roula Bether, Alexandra Vasilopoulos, Thomas Vasilopoulos, Adriana Agugliaro, Patrick Agugliaro, Emelee Agugliaro, Liam Agugliaro, and Luke Agugliaro; and her adored great-grandchildren, Bentley Bether, Isabella Bether, Theadora Bether, Mason Evans and Matthew Evans 

Though our hearts are heavy with grief, they are equally full of gratitude. We were blessed to have known a woman whose life was defined by faith, unconditional love, and selfless devotion to her family. Her legacy is not found in possessions or achievements, but in the values she instilled, the memories she created, and the love she gave so completely. She will remain forever in our hearts and will be deeply missed every day.

The family will not be holding public services at this time.

May the Lord welcome Theresa into His eternal kingdom, where she is reunited with her beloved husband and surrounded forever by His perfect peace. As Catholics, we hold fast to the promise of the Resurrection and trust that we will one day be together again.
