Johanna Traficante (Boesche) passed away peacefully at home on June 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease.

A lifelong resident of Boonton, Johanna was a graduate of Caldwell University, where she earned a degree in mathematics. She dedicated many years to teaching mathematics at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, where she inspired countless students with her knowledge, patience, and kindness.

Johanna's greatest joy in life was her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Daniel Traficante, in 2018. Together they enjoyed traveling and creating cherished memories with their grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Patricia Barry and Debbie Muhlberger and her husband, Eric; her cherished grandchildren, Ryan Barry, Kevin Barry, Eric Ough, and Fiana Jackameit and her husband, Ray; and her adored great-grandchildren, Annie and Freddie. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Nothing brought Johanna greater happiness than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She treasured summer days spent swimming, winters filled with ice skating, trips to see the New Jersey Devils and the New York Yankees, and her beloved Wednesday bingo games. Christmas Eve at Grandma's became a treasured family tradition, filled with warmth, love, and memories that will live on forever.

Through every challenge, Johanna maintained a positive attitude and a smile on her face. Her strength, kindness, devotion to family, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
