Lola was a part of my early childhood as I lived with her and my Grandmother. She was my Aunt but being only 4 years older than me she was more like a big sister. She was always looking out for me when we little kids. She will always be in my memories.

So sorry for Aunt Lola's passing. I know she will be greatly missed. Many good memories of playing Yahtzee around the kitchen table. And Aunt Lola and Uncle Ed taking me to the Boonton parade on July 4th. Sending lots of love ❤️ and prayers to all of the family.

I am heartbroken to learn of Lola’s passing. I truly had no idea, and the news hit me deeply. When I bought my first home at age 25, I had just lost my father and was trying to navigate life on my own. I was young, grieving, and unsure — and then I met the Mitchko family. Lola became a source of comfort and safety during one of the most vulnerable times in my life. She had this warm, steady way of making you feel cared for without ever making you feel like a burden. Knowing she and Ed were next door gave me a sense of security I desperately needed. She looked out for me in a way I will never forget. Lola was truly special — generous, inviting, and endlessly kind. She touched my life more than she ever knew. My deepest condolences to her family. Please know how loved she was, and how profoundly she impacted the people around her — including a young girl next door who needed her more than she realized.
