Nettie Inez Tasker of Boonton, NJ passed away on August 22, 2025 in Denville, NJ.

Visitation will be held at Dangler Funeral Home, 312 W. Main St, Boonton, NJ on Wednesday, August 27th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and  7:00 to 9:00 pm. The service will take place at 8:00 pm. 

Nettie found joy in the things she loved - getting lost in a good book, needlepoint, shopping and music. These simple pleasures gave her comfort and reflected the softness and beauty in her spirit.  Her warm smile and gentle presence remained a constant comfort to those around her, even during difficult times. 

Nettie will be remembered for her resilience, her loving heart, and her unwavering grace in the face of hardship. She created moments of peace and joy for those she loved, and her strength lives on in the lives she touched. 

Nettie is survived by her son and wife, Gordon R. Tasker, III and Leslie Tasker, her daughter and husband, Linda Lyons and Michael Lyons, her daughter, Terry Jo Hansen and her husband Glen Hansen, and her brother Walter Harry. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Emma and Otha Harry, her husband Gordon R. Tasker, Jr.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Victoria Mews and the entire staff along with Barbara & Gladys, her companions and caregivers from E-Care for all the love and compassion they showed her since she moved into the facility. Her family is eternally grateful for everything they did to enhance her quality of life from the moment she arrived.
