Obituary of Damiano George Rodriguez
In Loving Memory of Damiano George Rodriguez
February 11, 1993 – March 31, 2025
With broken hearts, we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved Damian at the age of 32. Damian was a cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. His vibrant spirit and kind heart touched all who knew him, and his absence leaves an unimaginable void in our lives. We hold tight to the memory of his warmth, his laughter, and his love.
Born in Jersey City and raised in Mountain Lakes, NJ, Damian was active in school soccer and baseball throughout his childhood. He was especially proud of his first job at Quiznos and graduated from Mountain Lakes High School in 2011. Damian went on to attend Loyola University Maryland, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, cum laude, in 2015 and was inducted into the Financial Management Association International Honor Society.
He followed his passion for finance, beginning his career at Morgan Stanley in Maryland before returning to New York City. There, he held roles at SS&C Technologies, Pretium, Sound Point Capital, and most recently, Vista Credit Partners.
Damian is predeceased by his beloved mother, Annette Damiano (October 2001). He is survived by his loving parents, Jorge and Edel, his brother Dario, his Nonna, and an extended family who adored him. He is also mourned by his many friends and all who were lucky to know him. Though he left us far too soon, Damian will live on forever in our hearts. We take comfort in knowing that he has found peace now, free from the struggles of mental health illness and addiction.
